ENGINEER - The engineer behind the recording and mixing controls for a long list of artists, Leslie's extensive client history ranges from his early days on tour with Roberta Flack and Todd Rundgren and his current touring with Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Taylor Dayne, and Hiroshima to mixing music for primetime TV shows Survivor, Boy Meets World, and Walker Texas Ranger to recording, mixing and mastering albums for one of his favorite artists, the legendary, award-winning, jazz-fusion band, Hiroshima. Today, Leslie is equally at home recording and mixing in a large commercial facility or in an artist's private studio. Leslie has recorded, mixed, and/or mastered over 100 albums, helping artists create Grammy-nominated and award-winning titles.
DESIGNER - After spending over twenty years in recording studios, Leslie knows how they work best. He has designed systems to fit a wide variety of needs for commercial music, post-production facilities, and private artist studios. His studio installations have been nominated for TEC awards and he is delighted to say that many of his clients have garnered nominations and awards from projects produced in their studios.
In a continuing evolution, Leslie brings his experience in studio design, soundproofing, and acoustic control to non-musical spaces. Residential homes and condominiums, offices and conference rooms, restaurants, houses of worship, medical practitioner rooms can all benefit from these techniques to create more efficient, balanced, and healthy environments in which to exist.
